A husband in Raebareli, Uttar Pradesh, has been left in shock after his wife allegedly eloped with her disabled lover, taking their son, cash, and jewelry with her. The distraught man has filed a complaint with the police and is now desperately searching for his family.
The incident took place in the Bhadokhar police station area. According to the husband’s report, he returned home from work to find his wife and son missing. Upon checking his belongings, he discovered that ₹30,000 in cash and valuable jewelry were also gone from their home.
The husband revealed to the police that this was not the first instance of trouble. He claims he had previously caught his wife and her lover together. The matter was escalated to a village panchayat (council), which had formally warned the lover to stay away from the man’s wife and family.
Despite the public warning, the couple has now apparently run away together, taking the child with them.
The heartbroken husband has submitted a formal written complaint to the Bhadokhar police. Based on his statement, authorities have launched an investigation into the matter and are searching for the woman, her lover, and the missing child.
